Street run in the Borja Extension road, starting at 6.30 AM, 2
rounds of 5 km., maximum
distance 10 km.,
after running 5 km., stop or pass the start/finish area to run the same track
again.
Start of the track:
CDO-city, barangay Gusa, at
the front of Sacred Heart of Jesus Christ Montessori Highschool
along the Borja Extension road, also entrance
Mountain Meadows.
track:
Running the
Borja Extension road first to the East, in
the end turning to run back Westward and
after 2.5 km.
turning again in the crossing with
streets to Camaman-an and Limket Kay.
Up and down is 5 km., 2 times makes 10 km.
Distance marks at 500, 1000, 1500, 2000, 2500
meter etc.
Potable water available in the start-finish
area and at the 2.9 km. turning point.

_This run
was a street run along the Borja Extension road which is a wide
road with only a T-crossing leading to the East Bound Jeepney
Terminal, so the track is pretty much safe.
We ran again in the left side of the street to see traffic
coming towards us.
-Altough ther were several distances to run, all of the
contestants decide to run only 5 kilometers, one lap only.
Aiding, my wife didn't find extra batteries for the digital
camera, so there is only one picture available, it's a good
picture!
Other pictures she took with my camera were failing because of no
transportation of the film in the camera, next time better, lets
hope!
_Because
I'm not able to compete in the race and also not able to guide
the event,
I was running the track last Wednesday March 31,
after preparing the track.
I can say, it's not easy because it's going up and down several
times.
I brought my weather station what showed me a pretty much high
morning temperature 25°+C. at 6 AM. After I finished it was
already 27.6°C and a humidity of 44%,
no wind at all.
The high temperature is my biggest enemy in running, but I'm
really satisfied to be able finishing in about 50 minutes, 50
meters more is still around 50 minutes!
My 1 km times: 4.43; 5.04; 4.58; 4.54; 4.53; 4.54; 5.10;
5.14; 4.59; 4.54
24.32. my almost ten kilometers ended in 49.49

after a small steep climb again we look at the
end of the Borja Extension
and the Montessori High school at the right side
