Distance maximum 8 km and any kilometer shorter,
the start in front of the Indahag barangay hall
_The
temperature was 25 degrees Celsius and the humidity 90% with no
wind, we start late again, at almost 7 AM.
Not any other person from Indahag was joining our running event.
Even some classmates of temporary citizen of Indahag Edna Yorpo
were failing to show up.
_Again, I was not clear enough in my explanation for the
youngsters.
For the complete distance of 8 km, one has to run the whole
track of 2 complete legs back and forth, following the arrows in the
street.
For any shorter distance, one has to return in the opposite
direction at km.1,5(for 3 km), km.2(for 4 km) or km.2,5 (for
running 5 km), etc.
What our 5 km runners did, was just running the first leg to the
turning point (is 2 km) and just returned from that point
straight back
to the finish, instead of running to 2,5 km mark and from that
point returning in the opposite direction.
But I'm not totally sure, maybe these youngsters are able to do
3 minutes in a km during 5 kilometer?
